PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) and PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) have entered a new phase in the governance of Indonesia’s palm oil marketing by establishing a strategic partnership through an open tender-based e-bidding scheme on Wednesday (April 1).
Through this initiative, the two state-owned enterprises combine their strengths to create a more transparent, competitive, and market-driven pricing system.
The collaboration leverages KPBN’s established marketplace and tender network, which has long served as a key price reference for commodities, particularly crude palm oil (CPO). Under this mechanism, prices are fully determined by market dynamics based on supply and demand, without external intervention.

“The price formed is the best price of the day, as it is purely driven by an open market mechanism,” said Muhammad Zulham Rambe, SEVP of Operations at KPBN, In a statement received by Palmoilmagazine.com on Thursday, April 2, 2026.
“We at KPBN would like to express our gratitude for the trust that Agrinas Palma Nusantara has placed in KPBN,” Rambe added.
For Agrinas Palma Nusantara, this scheme represents a strategic move to expand market access while enhancing product competitiveness. The e-bidding system enables prospective buyers to participate transparently in the tender process, ensuring a level playing field for all market participants.
At the same time, the mechanism supports the formation of optimal selling prices, ultimately contributing to increased state revenue.
The initial implementation of this partnership has delivered promising results. A total of 6,000 tons of CPO were successfully marketed, achieving a 100 percent acceptance rate. Strong buyer participation reflects high market confidence in Agrinas Palma Nusantara and indicates that the system effectively meets the growing demand for transparency and efficiency in commodity trading.
Beyond commercial transactions, the partnership underscores the value of synergy among state-owned enterprises. KPBN not only acts as a marketing facilitator but also as a strategic partner in ensuring optimal price discovery. Meanwhile, Agrinas Palma Nusantara gains access to a broader and more structured market ecosystem.
