BPDP Director Inspires Palm Oil Scholarship Recipients at INSTIPER Yogyakarta

PALMOILMAGAZINE, YOGYAKARTA – Mohammad Alfansyah, Director of Downstream Fund Distribution at the Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDP), delivered an inspiring address to recipients of the Palm Oil Human Resource Development Scholarship (SDM PKS) at the Indonesian Institute of Plantation (INSTIPER) Yogyakarta. The event took place on Thursday (July 17) in the university’s Auditheater Room.

Alfansyah’s visit was met with enthusiastic applause from scholarship recipients. Also present were the Rector, Vice Rectors, and faculty leaders of INSTIPER.

In his remarks, Alfansyah highlighted the importance of integrity, competence, and contribution from the younger generation as the future leaders of Indonesia’s palm oil industry. “The students at INSTIPER are full of enthusiasm. I hope the SDM PKS scholarship will benefit them and ensure the sustainability of the palm oil sector in the future,” he said in an official statement received by Palmoilmagazine.com on Saturday (Aug 9, 2025).

The event offered a valuable opportunity for students to gain direct guidance from a key figure in human capital development within the palm oil plantation sector. It also strengthened ties between BPDP and INSTIPER, while boosting students’ motivation to excel and prepare for professional careers in their field.

During the visit, the Vice Rector IV for Cooperation presented BPDP with a progress report on the SDM PKS Scholarship. The report included the profiles of scholarship recipients, Grade Point Average (GPA) achievements, academic and non-academic accomplishments at regional and national levels, and skill development programs facilitated through INSTIPER Academy.

The SDM PKS Scholarship is a strategic BPDP initiative aimed at producing highly skilled and knowledgeable professionals by supporting higher education at accredited universities, including INSTIPER Yogyakarta.

The Rector of INSTIPER expressed hope that this partnership will continue and expand in the coming years. Meanwhile, BPDP’s guidance is expected to ignite students’ determination to complete their studies on time and with outstanding results. (P2)
