BPDP Announces 90 Qualified Proposals for Palm Oil Research Grant 2025

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDP) together with the Research and Development Committee has officially announced the list of proposals that passed the initial selection of the Palm Oil Research Grant (GRS) 2025 program. A total of 90 research titles from various universities, higher education institutions, and research organizations have qualified to move forward to the presentation stage.

These proposals cover seven strategic research areas: bioenergy; biomaterials and oleochemicals; land, seeds, and cultivation; food, feed, and health; post-harvest and processing; waste management and environment; as well as social, economic, management, markets, and ICT. Each area is expected to deliver tangible contributions to the advancement of a sustainable palm oil industry.

According to BPDP, quoted by Palmoilmagazine.com on Wednesday (September 17, 2025), the presentation stage will take place on October 13–16, 2025, in a hybrid format, allowing participants to join both online and offline. BPDP emphasized that the announcement of selected proposals is final and cannot be contested.
