CPO Price at KPBN Slipped Rp 77/kg on Thursday (21/9)

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA –  The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was recorded to have fallen to Rp 10,724/kg on Thursday (21/9/2023), thus the CPO price fell by around Rp 77/kg, compared to the CPO price on Wednesday (20/9/2023) which reached Rp 10,801/kg.

Following information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the CPO price for Belawan & Dumai was set at Rp 10,724/kg. The CPO price at Talang Duku opened at Rp 10,524/kg, but there was a withdrawal (WD), with the highest bid at Rp 10,430/kg.

Meanwhile, CPO trading on the Malaysian Exchange is still sluggish. According to Reuters, the price of the benchmark palm oil contract coded FCPOc3 for December 2023 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell about 1%, or RM 37 per ton, to RM 3,683 (US$ 785.62) per metric ton in morning trade, the lowest level since September 13, 2023.
