CPO Prices at KPBN Tender Decreased 0.74% on Monday (5/2)

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The tender price for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) stood at Rp 11,550/kg on Monday (5/2/2024), reflecting a decrease of Rp 86/kg or approximately 0.74% compared to the Friday (2/2/2024) tender, which was Rp 11,636/kg.

According to information obtained from KPBN, the CPO Franco prices in Belawan and Dumai were Rp 11,550/kg, while in Talang Duku, it was Rp 11,350/kg.

In contrast, the CPO price at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange witnessed an increase on Monday (5/2/2024), halting the previous declining trend. This shift was attributed to concerns about lower January production numbers and a decrease in the Malaysia ringgit, which raised apprehensions in the market.

As quoted from Reuters, CPO reference contract price with the code FCPOc3 for April 2024 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange increased RM 35 per ton or about 0,93% to be RM 3,799 (US$ 800,13) per ton in the closing session.

  • Franco Belawan and Dumai Rp. 11.550-ACI, IBP
  • Talang Duku Rp. 11.350-PHPO. (T2)
