CPO Prices at KPBN Inacom and Bursa Malaysia Fall on Wednesday (27/3)

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – On Wednesday (27/3/2024), the tender price for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was Rp 13,010/kg, marking a decrease of Rp 190/kg or approximately 1.44% compared to the previous day’s tender of Rp 13,200/kg on Tuesday (26/3/2024).

According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the price of CPO Franco in Belawan and Dumai was Rp 13,010/kg. Meanwhile, CPO Franco in Talang Duku was listed at Rp 13,860/kg but was later withdrawn (WD) with the highest bid at Rp 12,780/kg. Additionally, the price of Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) in Dumai stood at Rp 15,192/kg.

At the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange, the price of CPO experienced a consecutive decrease for the second session, reaching its lowest level in the past two weeks on Wednesday (27/3/2024), attributed to the decline in other vegetable oil prices.

Quoted from Reuters, the reference contract price for CPO with the code FCPOc3 for June 2024 delivery at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange dropped by RM 101 per ton, approximately 2.38%, closing at RM 4,135 (US$ 874.39) per metric ton, marking the lowest since March 13th.
