PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was withdrawn (WD) with the highest bid at Rp 12,182/kg on Monday (22/4/2024). This marked a decrease of Rp 186/kg or approximately 1.5% compared to the tender on Friday (19/4/2024), which stood at Rp 12,368/kg.
According to information obtained from KPBN, the price of CPO Franco in Belawan was Rp 12,266/kg, but it was WD with the highest bid at Rp 12,182/kg. Similarly, CPO Franco in Dumai was priced at Rp 12,266/kg but WD with the highest bid at Rp 12,140/kg. Meanwhile, CPO in Talang Duku was priced at Rp 12,066/kg but WD with the highest bid at Rp 11,900/kg.
On the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange, the price of CPO for July 2024 delivery increased by RM 14 per ton, representing a rise of about 0.36% to reach RM 3,940 (US$ 819.53) per metric ton in the closing session. This marked the end of the longest decreasing trend since September 2023.

According to Reuters, the price of soyoil contracts at the Dalian Commodity Exchange increased by 0.29%, while CPO contract prices decreased by 1.21%. Additionally, soyoil prices at the Chicago Board of Trade experienced a rise of 0.87%.
