CPO Price at KPBN Inacom by 1.35% Declined on Tuesday (30/4), Mirrored in Malaysia

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) price  at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom stood at Rp 12,060/kg on Tuesday (30/4/2024), marking a decrease of Rp 165/kg or approximately 1.35% compared to Monday’s (29/4/2024) tender, which was Rp 12,225/kg.

According to Palmoilmagazine.com, the CPO price was Rp 12,060/kg at KPBN Franco in Belawan and Dumai. In Talang Duku, it was Rp 11,860/kg, with a withdrawal (WD) at the highest bid of Rp 11,766/kg. CPO in Teluk Bayur was priced at Rp 11,930/kg. In Kembayan, it was Rp 11,710/kg, with a withdrawal (WD) at the highest bid of Rp 6,500/kg.

The CPO price at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange experienced a decline on Tuesday (30/4/224), reaching the lowest level in the past two months due to decreased exports in Malaysia and cheaper soy oil prices at the Chicago Trade Board.

According to Reuters, the reference contract price for CPO with the code FCPOc3, scheduled for July 2024 delivery at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange, decreased by RM 101 per ton or about 2.58%, reaching RM 3,814 (US$ 799.58), the lowest since February 22nd.

The contract price for soyoil at Dalian, with the code DBYcv1, decreased by 0.13%, while the CPO contract price, with the code DCPcv1, decreased by 1.08%. Additionally, soy oil prices at the Chicago Board of Trade (BOcv1) experienced a decrease of 2.86%.
