PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was withdrawn (WD) with the highest bid of Rp. 12,688 / kg on Tuesday (16/7/2024).
Thus, the price of CPO was recorded to increased by Rp. 48 / kg, or there was an increase of about 0.38% compared to the price of CPO on Monday (15/7/2024) which reached Rp. 12,640 / kg.
From the information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the price of CPO Franco Belawan opened at Rp. 12,723 / kg but there was a withdrawal (WD) with the highest offer of Rp. 12,676 / Kg. The price of CPO in Dumai opened at Rp. 12,723 / Kg, but there was a withdrawal (WD) with the highest offer of Rp. 12,688 / Kg.

Then the CPO price in Talang Duku opened at Rp. 12,523/Kg, but there was a withdrawal (WD) with the highest bid of Rp. 12,456/Kg. The price of CPO in Sei Tapung opened at Rp. 12,484/Kg, but there was a withdrawal (WD) with the highest bid of Rp. 12,353/Kg.
The price of CPO in Kembayan opened at Rp. 12,273/Kg, but there was a withdrawal (WD) with the highest bid of Rp. 12,190/Kg. And the price of CPO in Parindu opened at Rp. 12,373/Kg, but there was a withdrawal (WD) with the highest bid of Rp. 12,190/Kg.
Meanwhile, the price of palm oil kernel (CPKO) in Belawan was set at IDR 17,802/Kg.
While, as reported by Reuters, the price of palm oil futures on Bursa Malaysia rose on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, as prices of other vegetable oils strengthened on the Dalian and Chicago bourses, and higher export forecasts supported the market.
The price of the benchmark FCPO1 palm oil contract for October 2024 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose RM 48 per tonne, or 1.24%, to RM 3,922 (US$ 838.57) per metric tonne in the afternoon.
Still reported by Reuters, the price of the most active Dalian soybean oil contract (DBYcv1) rose 0.26%, while the CPO1 palm oil contract added 1.22%. The price of soybean oil on the Chicago Board of Trade ZL1 rose 1.05%.
