PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) tenders at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom were withdrawn (WD) on Friday, October 11, 2024, with the highest bid reaching Rp 14,007/kg. This marked an increase of 0.84% or Rp 117/kg compared to the tender on Thursday, October 10, 2024, which was Rp 13,890/kg.
According to Palmoilmagazine.com, CPO in Dumai was priced at Rp 14,262/kg but was withdrawn with the highest bid at Rp 14,007/kg. In Talang Duku, the price was Rp 13,829/kg, while in Sei Tapung, it stood at Rp 13,790/kg, though it was also withdrawn with the highest bid at Rp 13,500/kg.
From October 7 to 11, 2024, Palmoilmagazine.com calculated that the average CPO tender price at KPBN increased by Rp 16/kg to Rp 13,972.40/kg, a 0.11% rise compared to the previous week’s average of Rp 13,956.40/kg (September 30 – October 4, 2024).
As reported by Reuters, CPO contract prices on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose on Friday, October 11, 2024, continuing a positive trend due to rising prices of other vegetable oils and strong export performance, as noted by cargo surveyors.
CPO reference contract price (FCPOc3) for December 2024 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange got increased RM 89 per ton or about 2,1% to be RM 4.322 (US$ 1.008,63) per metric ton in the midday. It got increased 0,51% this week.
Soyoil contract price at Dalian (DBYcv1) got increased 1,17%, CPO contract price (DCPcv1) did too 1,95%. Soyoil price at Chicago Board of Trade BOcv1 did increase 0,64%.
