PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was priced at Rp 14,038/kg on Thursday (17/10/2024), marking a 0.20% increase (Rp 28/kg) compared to Wednesday’s tender price of Rp 14,010/kg.
According to KPBN, the CPO Franco price in Dumai was Rp 14,038/kg, while in West and East Kalimantan, it was Rp 13,688/kg. Meanwhile, crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) in Lampung was priced at Rp 21,497 but was in withdraw (WD) status, with the highest bid at Rp 15,005-KLKD.
As reported by Reuters, the reference contract price for CPO at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange declined on Thursday (17/10/2024), influenced by cheaper soyoil and crude oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT).

However, higher prices for other vegetable oils helped stabilize the market. The reference contract price for CPO (FCPOc3) for January 2025 delivery dropped by RM 19 per ton (0.44%) to RM 4,292 (US$ 996.52) per metric ton by midday.
Still from Reuters, soyoil contract price at Dalian (DBYcv1) got increased 0,17%, CPO contract price (DCPcv1) did increase 0,32%. Soyoil price at CBOT did too 0,5%.
