CPO Price at KPBN Inacom Rises 1.48% on Friday (25/10), Weekly Average Up 2.29%

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – On Friday, October 25, 2024, PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) reported a crude palm oil (CPO) tender price of IDR 14,721 per kg, marking a 1.48% increase or IDR 214 per kg from Thursday’s price of IDR 14,507 per kg. According to KPBN Inacom, CPO Franco in Dumai was set at IDR 14,721 per kg, Teluk Bayur at IDR 14,591 per kg, and Talang Duku at IDR 14,521 per kg.

Palmoilmagazine.com also noted that the average CPO tender price at KPBN from October 21 to 25, 2024, rose by IDR 321.60 to IDR 14,353.60 per kg, reflecting a 2.29% increase from the previous week’s average of IDR 14,032.00 per kg (October 14–18, 2024). Meanwhile, although CPO contract prices on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell on Friday, October 25, weekly prices continued to trend upward for the 16th consecutive month as rising vegetable oil prices led India to reduce its CPO purchases, ultimately supporting global prices (Reuters).

CPO reference contract price (FCPOc3) for January 2025 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange got cheaper RM 16 per ton or about 0,35% to be RM 4.587 per metric ton in the midday.

Soyoil contract price at Dalian (DBYcv1) got increased 1,54%, CPO contract price (DCPcv1) did too 1,37%. Soyoil price at Chicago Board of Trade BOcv1 got decreased 0,16%.
