PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at Rp 15,140/kg on Wednesday (19/2/2025), marking an increase of 1.61% or Rp 240/kg compared to Tuesday (18/2/2025), when it stood at Rp 14,900/kg.
According to KPBN data obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com, the CPO Franco price for Belawan & Dumai was set at Rp 15,140/kg, while the CPO Franco price for Teluk Bayur was recorded at Rp 15,010/kg.
Meanwhile, Malaysian palm oil futures also climbed on Wednesday (19/2/2025), driven by rising prices of other vegetable oils and concerns over production. Increased buying interest ahead of a major industry conference further supported market sentiment.

The benchmark palm oil contract (FCPOc3) for May 2025 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose RM 82 per ton (1.82%), reaching RM 4,586 (US$ 1,032.65) per metric ton at midday.
Adding to market concerns, Malaysia’s Meteorological Department forecasted that a monsoon surge from February 21-25 could bring continuous heavy rainfall in East Malaysia and the eastern states of Peninsular Malaysia, potentially affecting production.
Elsewhere, the most active soybean oil contract on the Dalian Exchange (DBYcv1) gained 0.61%, while palm oil contracts (DCPcv1) rose 1.35%. Meanwhile, soybean oil on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) (BOcv1) edged up 0.13%.
