CPO Price at KPBN Inacom Jumps 2.28% on Wednesday (March 5)

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) price at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at Rp 14,800/kg on Wednesday (March 5, 2025), marking an increase of 2.28% or around Rp 330/kg from Tuesday’s (March 4, 2025) price of Rp 14,470/kg.

According to information from the KPBN obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com, the Belawan & Dumai CPO price stood at Rp 14,800/kg, at Teluk Bayur the CPO price was set at Rp 14,670/kg, and at Talang Duku at Rp 14,600/kg.

Meanwhile, Reuters reported that Malaysian palm oil futures rebounded on Wednesday (March 5, 2025) after two consecutive declines, tracking soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) as the market awaited data from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board.

The benchmark palm oil contract (FCPOc3) for May 2025 delivery on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose RM 21 per tonne, or about 0.48%, to RM 4,370 (US$ 983.13) per metric tonne at midday.

Elsewhere, soybean oil prices on the CBOT (BOcv1) rose 0.58%, while the most active soybean oil contract on the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DBYcv1) fell 1.16%, and the palm oil contract (DCPcv1) fell 1.3%.
