CPO Prices at KPBN Inacom Fall, While Malaysian Palm Oil Prices Continue to Rise on Thursday (March 20)

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) price at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was withdrawn (WD) on Thursday (March 20, 2025), with the highest bid recorded at IDR 15,088/kg. This marks a 0.20% decline or a decrease of approximately IDR 30/kg compared to Wednesday’s (March 19, 2025) price of IDR 15,118/kg.

According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the Franco Belawan CPO price was initially set at IDR 15,167/kg but was withdrawn (WD) with the highest bid at IDR 14,955/kg. Similarly, Franco Dumai CPO was also listed at IDR 15,167/kg but was withdrawn with the highest bid reaching IDR 15,088/kg.

Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, Malaysian palm oil futures continued their upward trend for the second consecutive session on Thursday (March 20, 2025), supported by rising palm oil prices on the Dalian Commodity Exchange.

The benchmark FCPOc3 contract for June 2025 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange increased by RM 49 per ton (approximately 1.12%) to RM 4,438 (US$1,002.94) per metric ton by midday.

Additionally, the most active Dalian soybean oil contract (DBYcv1) fell 0.35%, while the Dalian palm oil contract (DCPcv1) rose 0.73%. Meanwhile, soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) BOcv1 recorded a slight increase of 0.05%.
