PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at IDR 14,781/kg on Tuesday (March 25, 2025), marking a 0.42% decline (approximately IDR 62/kg) compared to Monday’s price of IDR 14,843/kg.

According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the CPO prices were set as follows; Franco Belawan & Dumai: IDR 14,781/kg, Franco Talang Duku: IDR 14,581/kg, and Franco Teluk Bayur: IDR 14,651/kg

Meanwhile, according to Reuters, Malaysian palm oil futures fell for the third consecutive session on Tuesday (March 25, 2025), tracking losses in vegetable oil prices on the Dalian and Chicago exchanges as investors awaited export data.

The benchmark palm oil contract (FCPOc3) for June 2025 delivery on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange dropped by MYR 29 per ton (0.67%) to MYR 4,276 (US$963.71) per metric ton by midday.

Additionally, a report from inspection company Amspec Agri Malaysia indicated that Malaysian palm oil exports for the March 1-25 period were estimated to have decreased by 8.47% month-on-month.

Other vegetable oil market movements included:

    • Soybean oil futures (DBYcv1) fell 0.76%
    • Palm oil futures (DCPcv1) dropped 1.64%
  • Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT):
    • Soybean oil futures (BOc2) declined 0.54%
