PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — The price of crude palm oil (CPO) traded at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was recorded at Rp14,625/kg on Thursday, July 24, 2025. This marks a slight decrease of Rp41/kg or 0.28% compared to the previous day’s price of Rp14,666/kg on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the Franco Belawan and Dumai CPO price stood at Rp14,625/kg. The Loco Kembayan price opened at Rp14,175/kg, but was withdrawn (WD) with the highest bid reaching Rp13,925/kg. Similarly, Loco Pelaihari opened at Rp14,071/kg, but also saw a withdrawal, with the top offer at Rp13,455/kg.
Meanwhile, Reuters reported that CPO futures on the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange weakened on Thursday, pressured by unexpectedly high production levels and the strengthening of the ringgit against the US dollar. This occurred despite a modest increase in global soyoil prices.
The benchmark October CPO futures contract in Malaysia slipped RM6 per metric ton or 0.14%, settling at RM4,309/ton (approximately US$1,022.30/ton) during the midday break. This decline followed two consecutive sessions of gains.
In the broader vegetable oil market, the most active soyoil contract on the Dalian Commodity Exchange rose 0.55%, while Dalian’s palm oil contract increased 0.27%. On the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), soyoil futures inched up by 0.02%.
