On the global stage, Reuters reported that CPO prices on the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange rebounded on Friday (Aug 1) after a soft opening. The recovery was driven by the weakening of the Malaysian ringgit and a U.S. decision to lower import tariffs on Malaysian goods, easing pressure on the commodity market.
