PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at IDR14,710/kg on Wednesday (September 17, 2025), marking an increase of IDR120/kg or about 0.82% from Tuesday’s level of IDR14,590/kg.
According to data obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com, the Franco Dumai CPO price stood at IDR14,710/kg. Meanwhile, Loco Pelaihari opened at IDR14,156/kg but ended in a withdrawal (WD) after the highest bid came in at IDR13,666/kg.
On the international side, Bernama reported that Malaysian palm oil futures closed marginally higher on Thursday (September 18), supported by strong export performance.

Market analyst David Ng noted that prices remain undeIDRinned by robust foreign demand despite pressure from weaker soybean oil prices. “We expect prices to stay above RM4,400, with resistance seen around RM4,550 per tonne,” he explained.
At the close, the October 2025 contract rose RM6 to RM4,414 per tonne. The November 2025, December 2025, and January 2026 contracts each gained RM5 to settle at RM4,450, RM4,475, and RM4,487 per tonne, respectively. The February 2026 and March 2026 contracts also inched up RM4 each to RM4,475 and RM4,441 per tonne.
Trading activity showed a notable surge, with volumes climbing to 100,222 lots from 78,526 lots in the previous session. Open interest also edged higher to 263,281 contracts from 263,070.
In the physical market, Southern Region October CPO rose RM20 to RM4,440 per tonne.
