PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — The crude palm oil (CPO) price at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at IDR 14,030/kg on Wednesday (26/11/2025), marking an increase of IDR 40/kg, or about 0.29%, compared with Tuesday’s price of IDR 13,990/kg.
According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN Inacom, the CPO Franco Dumai price was set at IDR 14,030/kg. CPO FOB Talang Duku was offered at IDR 13,830/kg, while CPO FOB Palembang stood at IDR 13,880/kg.
Reuters reported that Malaysia’s benchmark CPO futures rebounded on Wednesday after four consecutive sessions of decline, supported by gains in Chicago soyoil prices and a modest recovery in crude oil that helped lift market sentiment.
The benchmark February 2025 contract on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose RM 24 per ton, or 0.6%, to RM 4,014 (US$972.15) per metric ton as of 02:32 GMT. The slight uptick indicates renewed buying interest following a prolonged period of weakness.
However, movement across competing vegetable oils remained mixed. The most active soyoil contract on China’s Dalian Commodity Exchange fell 0.27%, while its palm oil contract dropped 0.36%. Meanwhile, soyoil futures on the Chicago Board of Trade gained 0.45%, offering some support to palm oil prices, as both commodities often move in tandem due to their competition in global markets.
Export data, however, continued to weigh on sentiment. Shipments of Malaysian palm oil products for the November 1–22 period were estimated to have fallen between 16.4% and 18.8% compared with the previous month, according to assessments from AmSpec Agri and Intertek Testing Services. The decline added to traders’ concerns amid still-volatile global demand.
