PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU — The price of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) from independent oil palm farmers in Riau has increased by Rp70.05 per kilogram for the period of July 23–29, 2025. According to the Riau Provincial Independent Oil Palm FFB Pricing Team (Decree No. 25), the price for 9-year-old palm fruit has now reached Rp3,428.04/kg.
Based on data from the Riau Provincial Plantation Office, as cited by Palmoilmagazine.com, the updated FFB prices by tree age are as follows:
- 3 years: Rp2,647.72/kg
- 4 years: Rp2,957.31/kg
- 5 years: Rp3,178.20/kg
- 6 years: Rp3,302.03/kg
- 7 years: Rp3,376.01/kg
- 8 years: Rp3,417.38/kg
- 9 years: Rp3,428.04/kg
- 10–20 years: Rp3,390.27/kg
- 21 years: Rp3,331.18/kg
- 22 years: Rp3,263.68/kg
- 23 years: Rp3,186.94/kg
- 24 years: Rp3,129.94/kg
- 25 years: Rp3,081.21/kg
In addition, the benchmark prices used in the calculation were:
- Crude Palm Oil (CPO): Rp14,359.50/kg
- Palm Kernel: Rp11,400.48/kg
- Palm Shell:04/kg
- K Index (quality index):80%
This price increase reflects stronger support for independent smallholders, as well as ongoing adjustments in market demand and CPO trading dynamics. (P2)
