PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU – Encouraging news for independent palm oil smallholders in Riau, the price of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) for 9-year-old palms has increased by Rp37.3 per kilogram for the period of August 6–12, 2025. According to the official Riau Provincial Government Decree No. 27 on Independent Smallholder FFB Pricing, the price now stands at Rp3,533.59/kg.
The reference price for crude palm oil (CPO) has been set at Rp14,573.50/kg, while the price for palm kernel is Rp12,653.00/kg. Palm shell is also priced at Rp24.04/kg, with a K index of 91.80%.
The following is a breakdown of the Independent Smallholder FFB prices by plant age, based on data from the Riau Plantation Office as reported by Palmoilmagazine.com:
- 3 years: Rp2,733.88/kg
- 4 years: Rp3,050.52/kg
- 5 years: Rp3,275.25/kg
- 6 years: Rp3,401.91/kg
- 7 years: Rp3,478.44/kg
- 8 years: Rp3,520.71/kg
- 9 years: Rp3,533.59/kg
- 10–20 years: Rp3,496.16/kg
- 21 years: Rp3,436.68/kg
- 22 years: Rp3,368.34/kg
- 23 years: Rp3,290.65/kg
- 24 years: Rp3,231.83/kg
- 25 years: Rp3,183.55/kg
