PEKANBARU – Palm oil plasma farmers in Riau are welcoming the latest price increase in Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB). Based on Decree No. 27 on Plasma FFB Pricing for the period of August 6–12, 2025, the provincial pricing team has agreed to raise the FFB price for 9-year-old palms by Rp45.17/kg, bringing the price to Rp3,608.79/kg.
This increase comes as a breath of fresh air, especially for farmers with plantations at peak productivity age. The full list of plasma FFB prices in Riau by palm age, as compiled by Palmoilmagazine.com from the Riau Plantation Agency, is as follows:
- 3 years: Rp2,781.45/kg
- 4 years: Rp3,153.15/kg
- 5 years: Rp3,341.83/kg
- 6 years: Rp3,487.41/kg
- 7 years: Rp3,562.52/kg
- 8 years: Rp3,604.61/kg
- 9 years: Rp3,608.79/kg
- 10–20 years: Rp3,589.50/kg
- 21 years: Rp3,533.14/kg
- 22 years: Rp3,479.12/kg
- 23 years: Rp3,421.42/kg
- 24 years: Rp3,358.18/kg
- 25 years: Rp3,287.06/kg
The reference price for crude palm oil (CPO) remains at Rp14,573.50/kg, while palm kernel is priced at Rp12,653.00/kg, and shell at Rp18.01/kg, with a K index of 92.18%.
