PALMOILMAGAZINE, RIAU – Less favorable news for independent palm oil smallholders in Riau. The Riau Provincial Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Pricing Team has set new prices for the period of August 27 – September 2, 2025, with a slight decline compared to the previous week.
For 9-year-old palms, the price dropped by Rp 15.43/kg, bringing it down to Rp 3,652.39/kg.
Based on data from the Riau Plantation Agency compiled by Palmoilmagazine.com, here are the latest independent smallholder FFB prices by plant age:
- Age 3 years: Rp 2,829.76/kg
- Age 4 years: Rp 3,154.88/kg
- Age 5 years: Rp 3,384.56/kg
- Age 6 years: Rp 3,514.61/kg
- Age 7 years: Rp 3,593.99/kg
- Age 8 years: Rp 3,637.37/kg
- Age 9 years: Rp 3,652.39/kg
- Age 10–20 years: Rp 3,615.06/kg
For older palms, prices show a gradual decrease:
- Age 21 years: Rp 3,554.86/kg
- Age 22 years: Rp 3,485.33/kg
- Age 23 years: Rp 3,406.27/kg
- Age 24 years: Rp 3,346.35/kg
- Age 25 years: Rp 3,297.25/kg
Meanwhile, derivative product prices were also set as follows:
- Crude Palm Oil (CPO): Rp 14,624.87/kg
- Palm Kernel: Rp 13,878.55/kg
- Palm Shell: Rp 23.13/kg
- K Index: 93.12%
