North Sumatra’s FFB Price Rises Again, Up IDR 15.79 per Kg

PALMOILMAGAZINE, MEDAN – The Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) price for oil palm in North Sumatra continued to rise during the period of October 15–21, 2025. According to the Provincial FFB Pricing Team, the price for FFB aged 10–20 years increased by IDR 15.79 per kilogram, reaching IDR 3,649.38 per kg.

Based on data from the North Sumatra Plantation and Livestock Agency compiled by Palmoilmagazine.com, FFB prices in the province are as follows:
– 3 years: IDR 2,824.89/kg
– 4 years: IDR 3,094.70/kg
– 5 years: IDR 3,282.32/kg
– 6 years: IDR 3,375.44/kg
– 7 years: IDR 3,404.42/kg
– 8 years: IDR 3,496.75/kg
– 9 years: IDR 3,561.53/kg
– 10–20 years: IDR 3,649.38/kg
– 21 years: IDR 3,642.42/kg
– 22 years: IDR 3,595.12/kg
– 23 years: IDR 3,559.98/kg
– 24 years: IDR 3,443.74/kg
– 25 years: IDR 3,339.67/kg

For the same period, the price of crude palm oil (CPO) was set at IDR 14,528.55 per kg, while palm kernel was recorded at IDR 13,461.62 per kg, with a K index of 93.03%. (P2)
