PALMOILMAGAZINE, MEDAN — Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices in North Sumatra recorded a slight decrease for the period of 26 November–2 December 2025. Based on the decision of the provincial FFB pricing team, the price for 10–20-year-old palms fell by IDR 10.79/kg to IDR 3,425.00/kg.

For supporting commodity values, crude palm oil (CPO) is priced at IDR 13,932.48/kg, while palm kernel stands at IDR 11,102.08/kg. The K index for the period is recorded at 93.03%.

According to data from the North Sumatra Plantation and Livestock Agency compiled by Palmoilmagazine.com, FFB prices for each age category are set as follows:

  • 3 years: IDR 2,654.97/kg
  • 4 years: IDR 2,906.71/kg
  • 5 years: IDR 3,077.54/kg
  • 6 years: IDR 3,164.57/kg
  • 7 years: IDR 3,193.45/kg
  • 8 years: IDR 3,278.37/kg
  • 9 years: IDR 3,340.50/kg
  • 10–20 years: IDR 3,425.00/kg
  • 21 years: IDR 3,417.97/kg
  • 22 years: IDR 3,372.47/kg
  • 23 years: IDR 3,338.68/kg
  • 24 years: IDR 3,226.88/kg
  • 25 years: IDR 3,126.79/kg

The slight correction in price comes amid fluctuating CPO market movements, which continue to influence smallholder FFB prices across major palm oil-producing regions. (P3)
