PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU — Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for plasma oil palm smallholders in Riau recorded a slight increase for the period of 26 November–2 December 2025. According to Palm Oil Fresh Fruit Bunch Pricing Decree No. 43, the pricing team approved an increase of IDR 15.97/kg for 9-year-old trees, bringing the price to IDR 3,467.72/kg.
For supporting components, crude palm oil (CPO) is priced at IDR 13,981.22/kg, while palm kernel is set at IDR 11,249.32/kg. Shell value stands at Rp 20.31/kg with a K index of 93.37%.
Data from the Riau Provincial Plantation Office, compiled by Palmoilmagazine.com, shows the following plasma FFB prices by tree age:
- 3 years: IDR 2,668.22/kg
- 4 years: IDR 3,029.07/kg
- 5 years: IDR 3,211.63/kg
- 6 years: IDR 3,352.16/kg
- 7 years: IDR 3,423.79/kg
- 8 years: IDR 3,464.29/kg
- 9 years: IDR 3,467.72/kg
- 10–20 years: IDR 3,448.68/kg
- 21 years: IDR 3,393.86/kg
- 22 years: IDR 3,341.13/kg
- 23 years: IDR 3,285.00/kg
- 24 years: IDR 3,223.39/kg
- 25 years: IDR 3,154.21/kg
This increase provides renewed optimism for plasma smallholders in Riau, as FFB prices have experienced fluctuations in recent weeks in line with movements in domestic and global CPO markets. (P3)
