PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU — The Riau Provincial Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Pricing Team has agreed to lower plasma palm oil FFB prices for the December 17–23, 2025 period. Based on Pricing Decree No. 46, the price for 9-year-old palm oil trees declined by IDR 4.12 per kilogram to IDR 3,511.78/kg.
According to data compiled by Palmoilmagazine.com from the Riau Provincial Plantation Office, plasma FFB prices vary by tree age. For 3-year-old palms, the price is set at IDR 2,699.39/kg, while 4-year-old palms are priced at IDR 3,066.91/kg. Prices rise to IDR 3,252.52/kg for 5-year-old palms and IDR 3,395.24/kg for those aged 6 years.
Meanwhile, FFB from 7-year-old palms is priced at IDR 3,467.54/kg, increasing to IDR 3,508.60/kg for 8-year-old palms. The benchmark price for 9-year-old palms stands at IDR 3,511.78/kg, while palms aged 10–20 years are set at IDR 3,492.23/kg.

For older plantations, the pricing team set FFB prices at IDR 3,436.34/kg for 21-year-old palms, IDR 3,382.50/kg for 22-year-old palms, IDR 3,325.27/kg for 23-year-old palms, IDR 3,262.42/kg for 24-year-old palms, and IDR 3,191.89/kg for 25-year-old palms.
During this period, the reference price for crude palm oil (CPO) was determined at IDR 14,253.65/kg, while palm kernel prices were set at IDR 10,980.90/kg. The shell value was recorded at IDR 20.29/kg, with a K index of 93.37%, forming the basis for the plasma FFB price calculation in Riau. (P2)
