PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU, RIAU – Prices of plasma smallholder Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) of palm oil in Riau Province recorded a slight increase for the period of 24 December 2025 to 13 January 2026. Based on the decision of the Riau Provincial Plasma FFB Pricing Team as stipulated in Palm Oil FFB Price Decree No. 47, the price for nine-year-old palm trees rose by IDR 4.54 per kilogram to IDR 3,516.32 per kg.
Data compiled by Palmoilmagazine.com from the Riau Provincial Plantation Agency show that plasma FFB prices vary according to plantation age. FFB from three-year-old palms were priced at IDR 2,704.45 per kg, while four-year-old palms stood at IDR 3,071.23 per kg. Prices for five-year-old palms reached IDR 3,256.66 per kg.
Meanwhile, FFB prices for six-year-old palms were set at IDR 3,399.34 per kg, seven-year-old palms at IDR 3,471.88 per kg, and eight-year-old palms at IDR 3,512.96 per kg. The highest price was recorded for nine-year-old palms at IDR 3,516.32 per kg.

For palms aged 10 to 20 years, the FFB price was determined at IDR 3,496.91 per kg. Prices then gradually declined for older trees, with 21-year-old palms priced at IDR 3,441.16 per kg, 22-year-old palms at IDR 3,387.51 per kg, 23-year-old palms at IDR 3,330.43 per kg, 24-year-old palms at IDR 3,267.77 per kg, and 25-year-old palms at IDR 3,197.42 per kg.
In the same pricing decision, crude palm oil (CPO) prices were set at IDR 14,216.81 per kg, while palm kernel prices stood at IDR 11,239.12 per kg. The shell value was recorded at IDR 20.29 per kg, with the K index determined at 93.37%. (P2)
