PALMOILMAGAZINE, PALEMBANG — The Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) price-setting team of South Sumatra Province has agreed to raise palm oil FFB prices for Period I of February 2026 (February 1–15).
For oil palm trees aged 10–20 years, the price increased by IDR 108.09 per kilogram, bringing it to IDR 3,577.58 per kilogram.
Meanwhile, the reference price for crude palm oil (CPO) was set at IDR 14,494.34 per kilogram, while palm kernel was priced at IDR 11,883.75 per kilogram. Shell value stood at IDR 17.61 per kilogram, with the K index recorded at 92.11%.

Based on data obtained from the South Sumatra Plantation Office, the detailed FFB prices by tree age are as follows:
- 3 years: IDR 3,015.86/Kg
- 4 years: IDR 3,109.47/Kg
- 5 years: IDR 3,247.79/Kg
- 6 years: IDR 3,285.71/Kg
- 7 years: IDR 3,284.70/Kg
- 8 years: IDR 3,395.58/Kg
- 9 years: IDR 3,459.65/Kg
- 10–20 years: IDR 3,577.58/Kg
- 21 years: IDR 3,566.44/Kg
- 22 years: IDR 3,572.58/Kg
- 23 years: IDR 3,547.46/Kg
- 24 years: IDR 3,446.36/Kg
- 25 years: IDR 3,457.33/Kg
- 26 years: IDR 3,394.83/Kg
- 27 years: IDR 3,342.65/Kg
- 28 years: IDR 3,284.28/Kg
- 29 years: IDR 3,220.33/Kg
- 30 years: IDR 3,151.52/Kg
The increase reflects improving palm oil market fundamentals and provides positive momentum for smallholders and plantation operators in the province at the start of February. (P3)
