PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAMBI – The Jambi Provincial Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Pricing Team has set lower palm oil FFB prices for the February 20–27, 2026 period, reflecting adjustments in benchmark crude palm oil (CPO) and kernel prices.
For oil palm trees aged 10–20 years — the prime production bracket — the FFB price was reduced by IDR 65.21 per kilogram to IDR 3,522.95/kg.
Based on data compiled from the Jambi Provincial Plantation Office, the detailed FFB prices by plant age are as follows:
- 3 years: IDR 2,736.41/kg
- 4 years: IDR 2,935.76/kg
- 5 years: IDR 3,069.74/kg
- 6 years: IDR 3,197.16/kg
- 7 years: IDR 3,277.67/kg
- 8 years: IDR 3,348.62/kg
- 9 years: IDR 3,413.75/kg
- 10–20 years: IDR 3,522.95/kg
- 21–24 years: IDR 3,419.71/kg
- 25 years: IDR 3,267.86/kg
Meanwhile, the reference CPO price was set at IDR 13,900.80/kg and palm kernel at IDR 13,119.50/kg, with a K index of 94.35%.
The downward adjustment signals continued pressure on upstream margins, particularly for smallholders who depend heavily on stable FFB pricing amid global commodity volatility. (P2)
