PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU — The price of plasma smallholder palm oil fresh fruit bunches (FFB) in Riau increased during the pricing period of March 11–17, 2026, according to the provincial pricing team.
Based on the official decree No. 8 issued by the Riau FFB Pricing Team, the benchmark price for nine-year-old oil palm trees rose by IDR 109.29 per kilogram to reach IDR 3,723.20/kg.
The pricing formula also references key commodity indicators, including crude palm oil (CPO) priced at IDR 14,663.57/kg and palm kernel valued at IDR 14,047.20/kg. Meanwhile, the shell value is set at IDR 16.51/kg, with the K index recorded at 92.98 percent for the current period.

Data compiled by Palmoilmagazine.com from the Riau Provincial Plantation Office shows that FFB prices vary depending on the age of the oil palm trees. For the current period, the price for three-year-old palms is set at IDR 2,875.81/kg, while four-year-old palms are priced at IDR 3,254.38/kg.
Meanwhile, FFB from five-year-old palms is valued at IDR 3,447.35/kg, six-year-old palms at IDR 3,596.64/kg, seven-year-old palms at IDR 3,674.80/kg, and eight-year-old palms at IDR 3,718.14/kg.
The highest benchmark price is recorded for nine-year-old palms at IDR 3,723.20/kg, while palms aged 10–20 years are priced slightly lower at IDR 3,703.94/kg. Prices then gradually decline for older trees, with 21-year-old palms set at IDR 3,646.67/kg and 22-year-old palms at IDR 3,592.02/kg.

Further price adjustments show 23-year-old palms at IDR 3,533.39/kg, 24-year-old palms at IDR 3,469.26/kg, and 25-year-old palms at IDR 3,397.00/kg.
For older plantations, the pricing structure places 26-year-old palms at IDR 3,353.31/kg, 27-year-old palms at IDR 3,309.57/kg, 28-year-old palms at IDR 3,267.13/kg, 29-year-old palms at IDR 3,250.77/kg, and 30-year-old palms at IDR 3,237.13/kg. (P2)
