PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — The palm oil industry is once again gearing up for its most anticipated global gathering. The Indonesian Palm Oil Conference (IPOC) and 2026 Price Outlook will take place on November 12–14, 2025, at the Bali International Convention Center, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua. Organized by the Gabungan Pengusaha Kelapa Sawit Indonesia (GAPKI), the annual event has become one of the most influential platforms shaping the direction and policy of both Indonesia’s and the world’s palm oil industries.
Under the theme “Navigating Complexity, Driving Growth: Governance, Biofuel Policy, and Global Trade,” IPOC 2025 will provide an in-depth look into global trade dynamics, evolving biofuel policies, and sustainable governance. The 2026 Price Outlook session will also deliver insights into global vegetable oil market trends and price projections that may impact Indonesia’s economy and the global agri-commodity sector.
GAPKI Chairman Eddy Martono highlighted that IPOC 2025 marks a key moment to strengthen cross-sector collaboration amid global challenges.

“IPOC is a strategic forum to discuss the future of the palm oil industry and how stakeholders can enhance productivity while navigating opportunities and challenges at both domestic and international levels,” Eddy said during a press briefing on October 28, 2025.
A stellar lineup of world-class speakers will headline the event, including: Thomas Mielke (Oil World), on global vegetable oil market trends and price projections. Julian McGill (Glenauk Economics), on macroeconomic factors shaping commodity movements. Ryan Chen (Cargill Investments China), on China’s economic outlook and palm oil demand. Satia Varqa (FastMarkets), on strategies to navigate market uncertainty. Dorab Mistry (Godrej International Ltd.), returning with his sharp analysis on next year’s price forecast. Pietro Paganini, an international public policy expert, on sustainability communication and regulatory challenges.
Additionally, Eddy Abdurrachman and Andri Hadi, will address Indonesia’s palm oil policy direction and international diplomacy efforts. Meanwhile, Dr. M. Fadhil Hasan and Oscar Tjakra will share insights on supply chains, energy policy, and long-term investment prospects in the vegetable oil sector.

High-level government participation will also highlight IPOC 2025, with key officials scheduled to attend, including Minister of National Development Planning Rachmat Pambudy, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Arif Havas Oegroseno, Vice Minister of Agriculture Sudaryono, and Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto.
They will discuss the roadmap for Indonesia’s palm oil industry toward Indonesia Emas 2045, along with the impacts of U.S. trade tariffs, EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), and the B50 biodiesel expansion plan as part of Indonesia’s sustainable energy transition.
Beyond the main conference, IPOC 2025 will host a palm oil exhibition showcasing innovations, technologies, and products from across the value chain. According to Mona Surya, Chair of the IPOC 2025 Organizing Committee, the event aims to be an inclusive and productive forum for all stakeholders.
With strong enthusiasm from participants, IPOC 2025 is expected to attract over 1,500 attendees — including business leaders, investors, analysts, and policymakers from around the world.
