“On behalf of the Regent of East Luwu, I extend our sincere appreciation to all who supported the implementation of this palm oil HR training program,” said Rapiuddin, as quoted by Palmoilmagazine.com from the East Luwu Regency Government on Monday, July 21, 2025.

The training is scheduled to run for ten days, from July 21 to 30, 2025, at Claro Hotel Makassar. The curriculum includes technical knowledge enhancement, professional attitude building, and entrepreneurial mindset development.

“This is not just about technical skills. It’s about nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset—how farmers can elevate themselves and become successful business owners in the palm oil sector,” Rapiuddin stated.

As a key commodity in East Luwu, palm oil plays a strategic role in driving local economic growth. Through this training, the government hopes to produce human resources who are not only skilled in the field but also proficient in modern plantation management.

“Palm oil is a vital economic driver in East Luwu. Through this training, we hope participants will gain a strong understanding of sustainable and modern plantation governance,” he added.

This program forms part of the broader efforts by local and national stakeholders to transform the palm oil industry—from being merely production-based to becoming a model of inclusive and competitive agribusiness. (P2)
