Inecda Replants Its Palm Oil Areas

InfoSAWIT, INHU –Since the replanting program done in PT Inecda Plantation, in Village of Tanimakmur, Sub district of Rengat Barat, District of Inhu in Januari 2017 that might not be productive anymore in the first phase, it has been cut and planted.

While the second phase replanting program, every stalk of palm oil trees that has been down is cut in 10 cm so that the cut could get rotten faster in the land. Besides the cut is useful to be the fertilizer for the next plantation.

Senior Manager of PT Inecda Plantation, Khamdiexplained, every cut in the first phase has been cut. His side then dug the areas to take off every falling tree so that there is no waste there.

It is done to anticipate the pest and disease of plantation and to ease the nursery for the new planting.

“It is cut into 10 cm. If it is not, the Assistants and foremen would be warned so that the operator keeps making the same measurement,” he said, as quoted from (T3)
