InfoSAWIT, SENGETI - 1.000 hectares of the smallholders’ palm oil areas in District of Muarojambi would get replanting program and helped by the central government. 300 hectares of the 1.000 hectares have been proposed to the province and would be sent to the central government.
Head of Plantation Agency, and Livestock, District of Muarojambi, Zulkarnaini said, about 500 hectares of the villagers are in verification process in Plantation Agency.
He also mentioned, the data from the agency revealed, 11 thousand hectares of the area could have the replanting program. But the district gets only 1.000 hectares to run the program.
“We just proposed 300 hectares to the province. 400 hectares are being verified. We would do our best to propose the other 1.000 hectares,” he said, as quoted fromTribunjambi. (T3)
