InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA –In these recent daysPT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) took PT Hartono Plantation Indonesia (HPI) to develop telecommunication network in the remote areas. The cooperation is to provide service of telecommunication and data for the employees, their families, and the people around.
Chief Executive Officer PT. HPI, Iwan Suhardjo and Director/Chief Service Management Officer XL Axiata, Yessie D Yosetya signed the cooperation.
Director/Chief Service Management Officer XL Axiata, Yessie D. Yosetya said, the remote areas have no telecommunication for such a long time. “The cooperation is the same with our mission to expand the network of telecommunication up to the remote areas in Indonesia, namely out of Java,” he said in the official statement.
In his speech, Chief Executive Officer HPI, Iwan Suhardjo, said that the cooperation could trigger the millenium generation as the successors of the future palm oil industries. “The cooperation indirectly supports the government’s programm in e – commmerce industries and create the opportunity to develop Small and Middle Business out of the plantation,” he said.
The construction would be starting in November 2017 and it is hoped, it could be finished in the early of next year. In the cooperation, XL Axiata would provide the infrastructure of the network in the region, and constructed the fiber optic and microwave network, and BTS.
There would be at least 12 BTS in 3G in some spots that could reach the people and the employees there. Besides, XL Axiata, through HPI would give the new card for the people around and the employees. (T3)
