InfoSAWIT, NUSA DUA –Though Gunung Agung, Bali erupts in this week, the annual roundtable conference of Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO ) the 15th kept running.
From whatInfoSAWIT got, Wednesday (29/11/2017), though it was difficult to get in Bali (because Ngurah Rai Airport was once closed for the vulcanic ash), participants from Indonesia mostly did travel by the alternative way, from Banyuwangi, East Java Province.
The annual conference kept running for more than 50% of the participants attended the event.
Outreach and Angagement Manager RSPO Indoensia, Dhiny Nedyasari, said, the second and third day of the conference kept running for the participants were more than 50%. “The first day did not run too good but every agenda was done,” he said in Jakarta.
For information, the annual conference of Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil(RSPO) the 15th(RT15) appreciated the stakeholders in every chain of stock of palm oil to increase the effective and conducive condition and situation to sustainable palm oil.
Within the theme “Inclusivity and Accountability”, the annual conference made that RSPO is committed to support the better transparency and collaboration among the stakeholders that get more and more. It is hoped, the stakeholders in the chain of stock could take more active role to realize sustainability. RT 15 would prioritize the review and ratification of RSPO Principles and Criteria in 2018.
