ANJ Substitutes Tobacco to Edamame

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTAPlantation sector becomes one factor increasing Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) in 2017. The share of the sector decreased 9,07% since the early of this year. But the plantation sector now gets profits for the decreasing of El Nino effect. Last year, the natural cycle pressed the income in this sector.

As quoted from Kontan, some companies start arranging the business strategies. For example, PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya (ANJT)starts focusing to get new income from new business, besides palm oil. One of it by enlarging the edamame product markets.

In the recent days, ANJT has substituted its selling business in tobacco to be edamame. “We focus in edamame to export, namely to Japan,” Director of ANJT, Istini Tatiek Siddhartarecently said in Jakarta.

On the other hand, ANJT would depend on the main source of income from palm oil business.(T3)
