InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA -In October 2017, India and Pakistan were stagnant to get crude palm oil (CPO). It influenced the decreasing exports and export volume from Indonesia to the two countries.
In October, the total CPO exports from Indonesia (not biodiesel and oleo-chemical) just reached 2,60 millionstons. The numbers decreased about 5,6% compared to the previous month.
The CPO stocks in Indonesia by the end of October increased 16% compared to the previous month, or from 2,92 millionstonsin September to be 3,38 millionstonsin October 2017.
Based on Indonesian Palm Oil Association (IPOA), the increasing domestic CPOstocks happened for the increasing production and decreasing exports. “The CPO and PKO increased 3% compared to the previous month, September or from 4,03 millionstonsto be 4,16 millionstons,” General Secretary of IPOA, Togar Sitanggang said in the official statement to InfoSAWIT, Friday (15/12/2017).
