January 2018 Palm Oil is Cheaper US$ 45,6, CPO OF Zero

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA– After considering some recommendation, based on Ministry of Trade, the crude palm oil (CPO) referential price in January 2018 would be  US$ 697,34/ton. It decreases US$ 45,6 or 6,14% from December 2017,that is US$ 742,94/ton.

“CPO referential price decreases and it is still less than US$ 750/ton. So the government decided, CPO Out Fee (OF) would be zero for January 2018,” General Director of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Trade, Oke Nurwan said in the official statement to InfoSAWIT, Thursday, (28/12/2017).

The Decision is written in the Regulation of Secretary of Trade No. 98 / 2017 about the Export Referential Price (ERP) Decision on the Agriculture and Forestry Product having Out Fee

CPO OF for January 2018 is also listed in Column 1, Attachment II, C, Regulation of Secretary of Treasury No.13/PMK.010/2017 reaching US$ 0/ton.  The numbers is as same as the numbers in December 2017, reaching US$ 0/ton.

Meanwhile the cocoa referential price  in January 2018 also decreases US$ 146,44 or 6,87%, that is from US$ 2.131,11/ton to be US$ 1.984,67/ton. It influences the cocoa ERP that decreases US$ 143 or 7,72% from US$ 1.853/ton in the previous month to be US$ 1.710/ton in January 2018.

The decreasing referential price and ERP of cocoa happens for the decreasing international price. It influences the cocoa OF that decreases to be 0% from 5% in the previous month. It is listed in Column 1, Attachment II, B, Regulation of Secretary of Treasury No.13/PMK.010/2017. (T2)
