InfoSAWIT, PALEMBANG –Central Bureau of Statistic (CBS) noted, the exports from South Sumatera in November 2017 reached US$ 401,41 million, or increased 1,38% compared to the exports in October 2017. The exports from January -November 2017 increased 108,76% compared to the same period in 2016.
Chief of CBS, South Sumatera,Yos Rusdiansyah, Friday (05/01/2018), said, the increasing export in November 2017 happened for the oil and gas exports reaching 33,46%from US$ 20,05 millionto be US$ 26,76 million. "While the non – oil and gas exports decreased 0,33 percent from US$ 375,91 millionto be US$ 374,65 million," he said, as quoted from Antara.
The exports from the province in November 2017 reached US$ 401,41 millionand they did consist of oil and gas reaching US$ 26,76 millionand US$ 374,65 millionwere non oil and gas commodity.
The decreasing non-oil and gas in November 2017 happened for the decreasing main commodities, such as, rubber, coal, shrimp, coffee, and tea. While the other kinds of commodity, such as, palm oil, palm oil derivative products, and wood (products of woods) increased.
The exports of non-oil and gas from South Sumatera in January - November 2017 were dominated by rubber that reached US$ 1.915,44 million,coal reaching US$ 491,60 millionand palm oil and the products reaching US$ 157,44 million. (T2)
