InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The progress of palm oil plantation in Indonesia always faces issues and it does not run well, starting from the regulations and others.
But the facts showed, palm oil industries nationally seem strong and never stop developing. Of cource it has something to do with the supports of the stakeholders, namely the planters who always work and dedicate themselve to realize high productivity palm oil.
For such issues about palm oil, it needs to improve and correct the information about palm oil. So Ikatan Keluarga Alumni Fakultas Pertanian Institut Pertanian Bogor (IKA Faperta IPB)as the an hospitality group of the formers of Faperta IPBtries to bridge every stakeholder in Indonesia.
IKA Faperta IPB plans to make ‘Sarasehan Nasional Kelapa Sawit’ within the theme”Sustainable Smart Plantation”, that would be done on Wednesday, 14 March 2018 at 08.30 – 13.00 WIBin Ballroom 1, IPB International Convention Center, Bogor (Jalan Raya Pajajaran No. 1, Bogor, 16680).

Based on the information thatInfoSAWIT recently got, it is hoped, the event could provide comprehensive description and make constructive solution in sustainable palm oil plantation management by implementing the technology and digital packet from on farm to off farm environmentally.
At least there would be 10 issues to discuss in the event, they are, the first, the complicated and uncertain permit process and also the expensive license fee (new or extended).
The second, the overlapping issue and occupancy of the area with the people that influence the slower operational target; the third, the procurement of investment and new planting and replanting modal still become something scary to the continuity and sustainability of business to the companies and the plasma/partner or independent smallholders.
The fourth, the availability of marginal area that needs highly environmental technology packet to increase palm oil productivity; the fifth, the social issue management in the society that is not fully solved in the program to the people partiality that also raises overhead cost. The sixth, the high turn over of human resource in the plantation as the impact that university and college could not prepare the competent and superior human resources; the seventh, the on farm operational business is mostly done manually by relying on the physical of workers (many do not implement mechanism).
