InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA - Director of PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSNG), Andrianto Oetomo, said, in 2017, the company had good work after in the previous year it had decreasing work because of continous effect of El – Nino.
The numbers of fresh fruit bunch (FFB) of the company reached 1,6 million tons, or increased 42% compared to it in the previous year. While the crude palm oil (CPO) production increased 29% to be 403,6 thousand tons within the average selling price in 2017 reaching Rp 8,1 million per ton, or increased about 8% from the previous year, 2016.
By 31 December 2017, the company had 13 plantations and 7 palm oil factories within the total capacity reaching 450 tons of FFB per hour and 1 Kernel Crushing Plant that producedPalm Kernel Oil (PKO) within the capacity reaching 200 tons per day. The mature areas by the end of 2017 laid about 72.345 hectares of the total planted areas laying about 90.288 hectares.
He also said, the better operational gave positive influence to the financial of the company. In 2017, the company got increasing selling about 33% to be Rp 5,2 billion.
“Of the selling, palm oil sector contributed 83% and the rests were from the wood production,” he said in the official statement to InfoSAWIT.
In 2018, the company plans to construct one new palm oil factory in West Kalimantan Province as same as the increasing mature plantation in the province. The factory would have 30 tons of FFB per hour and it would be the first factory of the company in the province.
If the factory operates, the total capacity of the company would be reaching 480 tons per hour. Besides the company is studying to develop Biomass Power Plants in East Kalimantan Province. It means, the company is committed to develop palm oil plantation sustainably. (T2)
