InfoSAWIT, JAMBI –For the smallholders in Indonesia, it is a must to have Cultivation Documents. This is to know the data of the width and where their plantations are.
Unfortunately, to have the Cultivation Documents spends lots of money but they have less. To solve the issue, Plantation Agency of Tanjung Jabung Barat (Tanjabbar), Jambi Province made initiative to give the Cultivation Documents freely to the smallholders.
Based on what InfoSAWIT got, it was recently done. Not only that the free Cultivation Documents were given to the independent smallholders in the districts, but it was given by meeting them in persons.
The lauching to give and publish the Fee Cultivation Documents was started in Village of Lubuk Kambing, Sub district of Renah Mendaluh. “The publication of Cultivation Documents was to the independent smallholders and this becomes the program of the regional government of Tanjabbar,” Rukaiyah Rafiq ofYayasan Setara said when the program was launched in the district.
It is hoped, the program could be inspiration for other regions to do so that the smallholders (independent) could be known well and the implementation of Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) for them could run faster.(T2)
