InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk (ANJ) in the public hearing where InfoSAWIT, also attended, Monday (14/5/2018), published that 2017 was positive and productive for the palm oil plantation company.
The net profit of the company reached US$ 47,4 million or increased about 415,3% compared to it in 2016 that reached only about US$ 9,2 million. While the EBITDA 2017 was reaching US$ 101,3 million or increased 13,6% compared to it in the previous year.
“We focus to sustainable effort in this year, 2018, to empower our profitability of our main business, that is, palm oil plantation, and to get the increasing volume, value and high margin,” Director of ANJ, Istini T Siddharta.
The increasing profits happened for the increase crude palm oil (CPO) average price about 3,7% compared to in in 2016.
Besides more expensive price, it happened for the significant increasing CPO selling volume reaching 17,5% or to be 209 thousand tons while in 2016 it reached only 177 thousand tons. Still based on the company, the CPO selling reached US$ 133,1 million, or increased about 24,9% compared to it in the previous year. (T2)
