PTPN Holding Increased the Small Business’ Capacity through RKB

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Holding Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero) on Monday (28/5) officially inaugurated four Rumah Kreatif BUMN (RKB) as the partners of the company in District ofSouth Labuhanbatu, District of Mandailing Natal, District of Batubara,andDistrict of Rokan Hilir. Director of Human Resources and Public, Holding Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III, Seger Budiarjo;Regent of South  Labuhanbatu, Wildan Aswan Tanjung;and Regent in duty of Rokan Hilir, Jamiluddin; attended the ceremony and it was done in District ofSouth Labuhanbatu.

RKB in the four districts in North Sumater Province and Riau managed by PTPN III, PTPN IV,and PTPN V is the program from Ministry of Enterprises together with other Enterprises which have been developingRKB in other regions in Indonesia. It is hoped, RKB could be as the same place to help the small and middle business in districts and city to develop and market (sell) their products to increase the people’s economy around.

“RKB is the help given by Enterprises in general, including PTPN to the people. The goal of making RKB is as the place for Enterprises to collaborate in applying Digital Economy Ecosystem through developing the small and middle business to increase their capacity and capability to realize the qualified small and middle business,” Director of Public Relation and Public, Holding Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero), Seger Budiardjo said in the official statement to InfoSAWIT.

To support the goal, each RKB would have 2 to 3 officers to develop, monitor the operational of RKB and to develop the small and middle business - men. Besides having room (space) to display their products, RKB has internet facility to help them to sell their products through digital platform.

“The small and middle business – men would directly practice to make, manage the online commerce, discuss and monitor the progress. This is the same with the vision of the President, that is, to make ‘Indonesia as the ‘Digital Energy in Asia’,” he said. (T2)
