Absence in the FFB Price Meeting, 23 Palm Oil Plantation Companies Would Get Sanction

InfoSAWIT, BENGKULU –23 palm oil plantation companies in Bengkulu Province would get sanction from the Provincial Government for the absence of the representatives to decide the fresh fruit bunch (FFB) price which the provincial government did together with Indonesian Palm Oil Association, Bengkulu province did on last Wednesday.

Head of Plantation Horticulture and Food Plantation, Bengkulu Province, Ricky Gunawan said, the sanction to give may be in written.

But Ricky continued, of the total palm oil plantation companies in the province, only 19 of 31 companies attended in the meeting to decide the FFB price.

Of the 19 companies, 8 companies were represented without the staff dealing with FFB price. “Those which may get sanction are the absent companies and the companies having representatives,” he said as quoted from Bengkulu Ekspress.

The result of the FFP price decision was agreed by 8 companies only. The rests did not agree with. But the decision was the FFB is Rp 1.071/kg within the tollerance 5% or Rp 1.018/Kg. Every company  should obey the decision. If it is not implemented, one thing for sure, there would be license revocation.(T2)
