Holding PerkebunanHelped the Victims in Lombok

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA–To relieve the burdens of the earth quake victims in Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), Holding Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero) as one company having wide plantations in Indonesia gave helps, cash about Rp 500 millions, medical personnels, and medicines to Badan Pelayanan Pendapatan Daerah (BPPD),District of North Lombok.

The helps were given by Director of Human Resources (HR)&Public, Holding Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero), Seger Budiarjo accompanied by Director of Communication, PTPN X, Slamet Djumantoro, Director of RS BUMN PT NMU, PT NSM, PT RNM to the Head of BPPD District of North Lombok, M. Iwan Maret Asmara in the BUMN Post, Hadir Untuk Negeri in Lombok, last Friday.

Besides the cash, Holding Perkebunan Nusantaraalso gave others, such as, terpaulin, blankets, babies’ needs, and milk reaching about  Rp 600 million. The helps were symbolically accepted by Zainal Idrus as the Head of Inspectorate, District of North Lombok.

"The post to handle the victims and the helps given are the real evidences and commitment of Holding Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero) as Enterprises to help the people, namely those in Lombok who hit by the earth quake,” Director of HR and Public, Holding Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero), Seger Budiarjo recently said in the official statement to InfoSAWIT.

In the chance, the company also sent 17 medical personnels and the nurses to the regions hit by disaster, complete with the medicine, and two cars of ambulance. “We do hope, from what we give, the people who hit by the disaster could directly get the positive,” Seger said.

For information, 259 died because of the 7,0 SR earth quake in NTB and around. The numbers were the last data in the fourth day after the disaster based on National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA).

The temporary data from Central Data of PR and Information, NDMA were, 259 died. In North Lombok there were 212 men, West Lombok 26 men, East Lombok 11 men, Mataram 6 men, Central Lombok 2 men, and Denpasar 2 men.

Those having serious injured reached 1.033 men and they are in the hospital and ‘puskesmas’ to get medicine. There are 270.168 refugees in many places.

The physical damages cover 67.857 houses, 468 schools, 6 bridges, 3 hospitals, 10 ‘puskesmas’, 15 mosques, 50 small mosques, and 20 offices. (T2)
