Total Credit in Palm oil in 2017 Reached Rp 427,5 Billion

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA -Palm oil plantation which keeps developing also needs fund support as the capital of business. Based on General Directorate of Plantation, Ministry of Agriculture, Indonesia, the total palm oil plantations nationally in 2017 reached about 14,031 million hectares and would be more.

They are in many islands in Indonesia, such as, Sumatera, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua. Its width is the same with the crude palm oil (CPO) production in the same year, reaching 37,813 million tons.

Director of PT Pegadaian (Persero), Sunarso, who worked in Bank Mandiri said that the total credit in palm oil plantation and its derivative reached Rp 427,5 billion – the plantations got fund reaching Rp 332,7 billion and CPO derivative industries got fund support reaching Rp 94,8 billion.

The banks really supports palm oil plantations in Indonesia because the businesses, such as, CPO and its derivate would be in good prospect and having big chances in the future.(T1)
